Everyone is so open and friendly which makes it a nice place to come into every day. I’ve made some real friends since I started.
Read Eoghan's testimonialI was really skeptical when I was told at my interview that Engineers release features and bugfixes to the platform multiple times a day, but it is totally true! And it’s amazing!
Read Alex's testimonialCome in with ideas and don’t be afraid to share, some of the best opportunities and ideas come from our Stand Ups/Team Meetings.
Read Ruth's testimonialWe partner with a fantastic health insurance provider in Ireland to cover full health insurance for our team. Great for routine day-to-day medical needs as well as giving you peace of mind. You are covered from day one.
We match up to 5% of your salary each month to contribute to your pension fund. Contributions start from day one of your employment at CurrencyFair; we don’t believe there should be a waiting period for this.
We participate in the bike to work scheme which will help you get a snazzy bike to get you to the office. We also offer the tax saver commuter tickets for Public Transport around Dublin and beyond.
We love our work, but it’s also nice to let our hair down too. Our social committee arranges lots of fun things for you to get involved in; regular team lunches, seasonal events, tag rugby, desk treats and nights out.
We believe in paying our people fairly for the job they do. Our salaries are competitive and are reviewed every year to make sure we are in line with the market.
We offer 25 days holidays per year and we encourage our team to ensure they have taken all their holidays each year. It’s important to take a break from work (and to bring back exotic treats for your colleagues to enjoy!)
Here at CurrencyFair, we are all about finding the right fit for each role in terms of experience and skills of course, but we also value potential and attitude!
We are not fans of dragging the recruitment process out; it’s designed to quickly figure out which candidates are likely to thrive in our environment.
We don’t make false promises and we make sure to have the important conversations and ask the important questions early on.
All of our vacancies are posted on our site (and you may see them on LinkedIn too) and the process to apply is simple. We ask you for a few important details and to upload your CV.
Once you have submitted your application you’ll receive an auto-response from us letting you know we have received your details. We carefully consider all applications and our policy is to get back to all applicants.
When we have reviewed the applications we will usually start with a screening call which gives us the opportunity to chat to you about the role and to understand your motivation for applying. You also get to ask us questions too; this stage is important for you to assess if we are the right fit for you too!
For any Data and Engineering roles, we invite our shortlisted candidates to complete a challenge. Each challenge is designed to ensure you can meet the minimum technical requirements of the role, and gives you the opportunity to show us what else you can do; showing off is encouraged!
Next up is an interview onsite (or via Skype if you are not in Dublin) with the relevant Hiring Manager. The interview will give you the opportunity to talk about your background, strengths, interest in CurrencyFair and give you the chance to ask us all the burning questions you might have . A second and final round interview would then typically be with another manager
