How long will it take for my money transfer to reach Europe?

Sending in money to your CurrencyFair account can vary depending on the currency. AUD typically reaches us in 1-2 business days, whereas other currencies may take up to 5 days. After we have exchanged your money into EUR, money transfers to Europe typically take 1-2 business day but can arrive in the same business day. Find out more about our estimated processing times.

CurrencyFair charges a margin on top of the interbank rate for your exchange. Our standard margin for AUD-EUR transfers is 0.45%. From 30.11.20, a margin of 0.22% will be available for AUD-EUR (AUD 2,000 - AUD 4,999). Also available is a margin of 0.33% for AUD-EUR (AUD 4,999 - AUD 24,999), a margin of 0.38% will be available for AUD-EUR (AUD 25,000 - AUD 99,999), a margin of 0.39% will be available for AUD-EUR (AUD 100,000 and above). To be eligible for the reduced margin AUD-EUR rate you must activate your CurrencyFair account and successfully complete a trade of AUD-EUR.
