St Patrick’s Day (or Paddy’s Day) is beloved by people around the world and it’s extra special in the world’s most isolated capital city: Perth, Australia. In order to bring the magic of Paddy’s Day to the fine people of Perth, a special not-for-profit organisation has been established specifically to run the St Patrick’s Day Parade through the cafe district of Leederville. The organisation was founded by the ever-active Irish Families In Perth group.
About The Perth St Patrick’s Day ParadeThere are two things to note about the Perth St Patrick’s Day Parade:
- It’s a lot of fun. The sun is inevitably shining and the streets are filled with music, smiles and laughter.
- It’s a free event and the committee could do with your help to raise money to put on the event (CurrencyFair are sponsoring the event too).
