CurrencyFair demonstrates QuickTrade at Finovate Europe 2012

Today we demonstrated our new QuickTrade functionality at Finovate Europe 2012. Brett and Jonathan presented the product on stage in front of over 550 attendees, including leading financial executives, venture capitalists, press, industry analysts, bloggers, and fintech entrepreneurs. In all, 35 of Europe's leading established companies and cutting-edge startups presented their new financial innovations, in the strict 7-minute Finovate demo format.
Brett and Jonathan, on the live CurrencyFair website, demonstrated QuickTrade for an exchange of 2000 Euros into Pound Sterling. They were able to show a customer achieving a rate better than the interbank rate at that moment, after all marketplace commission. They explained that it was CurrencyFair's unique peer-to-peer marketplace format which allowed this to happen, even though it is impossible anywhere else.
We received great feedback on the demonstration, and apparently scored very well in the public vote. Congratulations go to Cardlytics, Dynamics, eToro and Nutmeg, who were named 'Best of Show'.
